Are leases month-to-month?
Yes. All leases are month-to-month, so there are no long-term contracts. We simply require written notice at least 10 days before you vacate your unit.
Can I access my storage unit at any time?
Standard access hours are 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM, seven days a week, including holidays. Business tenants may upgrade to 24-hour access for an additional $25 per month with proof of business operation.
Can I transfer to a different unit size if I need more or less space?
Yes, you may transfer at any time. Please contact the office for relevant upsize or downsize pricing. All transfers include a one-time $35 transfer fee.
How often does rent increase?
Your rental rate is guaranteed for at least 3 months. If market conditions allow, your rate may remain the same for up to 6 months. If a rate increase occurs, you will receive a 30-day advance notice.
Do you have video surveillance and gated access?
Yes. Our facility is monitored 24/7 with video surveillance and secured with code-controlled gated access.
What should I bring when moving in?
If additional information is needed on your account, please be prepared to provide a valid ID and an additional contact’s full name and phone number before access to your unit is granted.
Do I need insurance for my stored items?
Yes. Insurance or protection coverage is required. You may choose the protection plan offered at move-in or provide your own insurance. Your policy must cover either the specific unit rented or your belongings outside of your rented premises.
Can I store a vehicle, RV, or boat?
Yes, vehicle storage is available through designated parking spaces only. Please contact your local facility for availability. A vehicle title or current registration in your name, VIN, and proof of insurance are required before renting a parking space.
What should I do if I need help after hours?
Contact our 24/7 Insomniac Support Team by calling the office number after hours or by using the on-site kiosk. If additional assistance is required please leave a voicemail and a manager will assist you when the office opens.
Do I get a refund for moving out before the end of my billing period?
Rent is not prorated, and partial refunds are not issued for moving out before the end of your billing period. However, any full, unused months of prepaid rent may be eligible for a refund.
